So…I keep bringing up the name of this church. Well, that’s because it’s a really big part of my life. It’s not just a place I go to on Sundays or sometimes if I’m feeling up to it, midweek. For 20 years now, I have been attending this church in the Berkeley/Oakland area of the East Bay. Yeup, 20 years. Which means, I’ve got a bunch of people in their 30s and 40s saying, “Eileen Ahn! I remember when you were this tall!!!” Anyway, for the past 5 years, I have been attending the church in the city. We just celebrated our 6th Anniversary earlier this year! Through the past 20 years, a lot has happened, I’ve grown a lot, made a lot of mistakes, built a lot of relationships, rebuilt a few, but more importantly, have grown to know God and experience his love, forgiveness and grace again and again.
